19th century storage box with wooden bail handle and finger joined wooden bands. Copper tacks. Measures 14 inches across and 6 1/2 inches to the top of the box and 12 inches to the top of the handle. I've been told it could be a Shaker sewing box but I haven't been able to confirm that. A nice early box to add to your collection.

Neat early 20th century miniature wooden bucket with excellent original surface. Brass bands, bail handle and cover. Measures 4 inches tall (6 inches with handle up) and 4 3/4 inches across.

Late 19th-early 20th century 17 inch wooden bowl with raised rim and raised bottom. No cracks. Untouched patina which includes stains and light and dark areas. One side has flattened area where bark was removed during the turning process.

Late 19th century covered wall/candle box in red over mustard paint. Nicely shaped back. Good overall condition with just minor wear to the two front corners of the bottom (see photos 6 & 7). There also was a knot in the front of the lid that is painted over so it likely was made this way. Box had been waxed by the previous owner.

Circa 1900 wall/salt box in old white paint. This box is footed so may have also been used on a table. Top which is two pieces is splined together on the sides. Measures 15 inches high, 9 3/4 inches wide and 9 inches deep. Good little storage box.

Early 18th century wall box found in New Hampshire. This box is constructed entirely of rosehead and T-head nails and uses 1 1/8 inch boards. Original surface was gently cleaned by prior owner preserving a nice patina. There is an area in the front that has been repaired (filled). It doesn't appear from the top to be very deep, so it could be removed. Unusual form. Measures 20 1/2 inches high, 5 1/2 inches deep and 6 1/4 inches wide.

19th century candle box inold gray paint over what appears to be red and mustard. All square nailed. Measures 13 1/4 inches long, 6 1/4 inches wide and 4 1/4 inches high. Found in New Hampshire.

19th century round pantry box out of a collection in New Hampshire. Old red paint with "Harvard" lap or finger joint construction. Small split at the end of the finger joint on the lid where the nail is otherwise box is in very good condition. Measures 7 inches wide and 2 3/4 inches high.

Early 1900's Shaker oval sewing box, as found, missing handle. Otherwise, excellent condition. Original interior. Measures 9 1/2 inches wide, 6 1/4 inches deep and 3 1/4 inches high.

Late 19th century wall box in original untouched finish. Decorative crest back with scratch carved decoration on the front panel and decorative brass tacks (middle row missing). Dovetailed construction and nailed. Left side of the box has an old repair (see detailed photos). Measures 9 1/2 inches wide, 12 inches high and 4 1/2 inches deep.

19th century wooden measure in old green paint. This measure is out of a Vermont home. It has staved construction with finger jointed wooden bands and a slightly bulbous form. It measures 15 1/2 inches across and 8 3/4 inches high.

Earlier 1900's wooden bowl with Pa. German decorated interior. This piece came out of a Vermont estate. See additional photos for knot or other repair. Neat decorative piece. Measures 10 1/8 by 10 7/8 inches.

Large (19 1/4 inches) 19th century wooden bowl. Raised rim and base. Old, weathered surface on the outside with remains of original green paint on the base. Inside has old refinished surface. The center of the base has a two inch hole (doesn't go through) where it sat on a pedestal. This bowl was used in a Rome, NY area church for baptisms for most of the 1900's. I removed the pedestal. No cracks. Outside has has a 1/2 inch by 5 inch area (bottom of photo) where a knot has fallen out. Does not go through.

Early 19th century turned wooden bowl with raised rim and wonderful turned base. This bowl was refinished probably in the mid 1900's. It measures 14 1/2 inches across and is nicely out-of-round. Bowl weighs just over 1 pound-its very light. Excellent condition-no cracks.
