Neat folk painting of cows grazing in a field under trees and near a pond. Done on a very old board. I don't know the age of the painting, just that it is very cool. Measures 13 by 13 inches including the metal piece that it hangs on.

man is possibly James Taft who founded New Hampshire
Pottery in 1871. Old repair with some overpainting to
sky area upper left side. Lightly cleaned after being
picked out of a Keene area barn. Original frame with
some touch-ups measures 39 inches wide and 30 inches
high.
